This involves work in a number of areas: Graphics We can use or modify any existing graphics that you wish to use such as a logo or color scheme. We can also design entirely new graphics for the site. This includes the overall layout of the whole site, the means of navigation, the basic color scheme, images, text (font style) and size, as well as miscellaneous graphical elements. Site Structure & Navigation All sites need simple and intuitive navigational schemes that not only have a clear description of the pages, but which also utilize color and other graphical elements to help the user. Large, complex web sites have a particular challenge to allow users to reach the pages with a minimum of mouse-clicks. A basic Site Diagram showing each of the sections and pages will be developed to guide the development process. A well-designed Site Structure organizes the information and functions of your site in a logical, clear, and intuitive manner for the User. Site Administration Elements Editable Portions of Web Pages specified portions of pages can be edited via your browser. Database Maintenance Part of your website may come from a database. We provide browser-based tools to add, edit, and delete database records. User Permissions Add & delete users, assign User ID’s and passwords, set permissions for specific users to maintain your web site. For sites that involve databases and special scripts & programming, we find that the development and maintenance of your site is quicker, easier and more trouble-free if they are hosted on our server.
